Travel tech firm Kiwi.com has partnered with Bratislava Airport to help travellers search for destinations originating from the Slovak hub.

Through the use of Kiwi.com technology, passengers can now search for destinations originating from Bratislava Airport – also known as M R Štefánik Airport. The technology provides personalised itineraries which include details of potential connections that will help travellers reach their chosen destination, giving them a wider choice of routes than they would otherwise have identified.

The cooperation between Kiwi.com and Bratislava also includes a marketing campaign to increase the airport’s visibility and encourage customers to choose it as their starting point. The campaign promotes unique routes from Bratislava Airport to travellers searching on Kiwi.com through social media, travel articles, banners on the airport’s website, and within the Kiwi.com newsletter.

The chairman of the board and general director of M R Štefánik Airport, Dušan Keketi, said, “Cooperation with Kiwi.com represents a long-term project that brings our clients the advantage of simple and quick ticket booking directly on the airport's website, as well as an overview of the most favourable price offers to popular destinations.“

Golan Shaked, chief commercial officer at Kiwi.com, added, “We are delighted to be partnering with Bratislava Airport and promoting the extended reach of routes available to travellers departing from the region. With Kiwi.com’s access to 95% of global flight content, we are able to provide passengers traveling from Bratislava with global connections at great prices thanks to our unique itineraries.“

The marketing campaign for Bratislava airport is scheduled to run during summer 2023, while access to Kiwi.com’s content can be found on the airport’s website.
