Imports could double at London Gatwick by 2038 if the airport’s northern runway is brought into routine use alongside its main runway, the airport has said.
London Gatwick has appointed a new chair who will work with VINCI Airports, Global Infrastructure Partners and the executive team on the airport’s future. Baroness Margaret Ford of Cunningham will take over the role from outgoing chair Sir David Higgins.
London Gatwick's graduate scheme has relaunched following the pandemic, with seven new recruits offered places on the programme from a pool of more than 1,500 applicants.
