The Weitz Company has been selected by the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (GOAA) to complete the MCO Terminal C Multi-Modal Connector Pedestrian Bridge and Rental Car Lobby.

This design-build project will primarily focus on the construction of an approximately 450ft-long pedestrian walkway that is elevated, enclosed, and conditioned, and an adjacent rental car lobby area on the north side that will directly connect the new Terminal C with the existing multi-modal facility to serve up to four forms of passenger rail and all forms of public and private ground transportation.

The project will include rental car counters and queuing areas, multi-use information displays, interior landscaping, and preservation of all future capabilities for baggage rights-of-way and connection to future facilities and parking facilities.

“The Weitz Company’s Aviation Team is extremely excited to be selected for this project,” said Ben Bunge, Weitz director of aviation. “Our strong relationships have positioned this project for success, and we look forward to working with GOAA on this project as it continues working on its master plan.”
