VIE appoints new ground services head

Michael Zach has been with operator Flughafen Wien since 2006, as managing director of the City Airport Train and most recently as managing director of Business and General Aviation and the VIP Terminal. He has also been responsible for sales, finance and cargo in the Handling Services division since 2018. With this latest appointment, Zach now heads the largest division of Flughafen Wien, with 1,400 employees.

Zach takes over from Franz Spitzer, who is moving into semi-retirement after almost 30 years at the airport.
