Swissport has won Loganair and Vueling as new customers at Heathrow airport.

The contracts with the two carriers cover passenger services and ramp handling. Loganair is the UK’s largest regional airline and the contract to deliver its Terminal 2 operations marks an expansion of the existing collaboration between Swissport and the airline. Vueling is a new entrant to Heathrow’s Terminal 4, where it will offer daily flights to Paris-Orly and Barcelona.

Karen Cox, CEO for Swissport UK & Ireland, said: “We are delighted and proud that two brands at the heart of UK and European travel have put their trust in Swissport to safely and effectively deliver for them and for their passengers. At Swissport, we are passionate about becoming the service partner of choice at Heathrow airport and this is another important milestone on that journey.”

Loganair’s head of airports, Caroline Tunney, said: “We are excited to start a new chapter at Heathrow working with Swissport. They are a great bunch of people down there and we look forward to establishing a long-standing partnership of delivering for our customers.”
