Rather than reconfigure their terminals to meet evolving passenger needs, a growing number of airports are turning to the pod – a relatively low-cost structure that can be moved around, as and when required. Pod manufacturers and developers are not only addressing the current need for enhanced hygiene measures but are coming up with increasingly sophisticated and innovative answers to the changing preferences of an ever-wider range of airport users.
