Lagardère Travel Retail Perú, Lima Airport Partners and Inflyter have installed a smart locker at International Arrivals in Lima.
Installation of the automated, digital locker means that passengers will be able to shop in the Departures area before collecting their purchases on their return to Perú. It is the first automated duty-free locker service in the country.
The machine features an interactive touch-screen that the passengers will use to enter a 6-digit pin or to scan the barcode printed on their purchase receipt. They will then scan their boarding pass and passport, after which the locker will automatically open , enabling them to collect their items. The locker will be positioned outside the Aelia Duty-Free store in Arrivals, next to the baggage claim.
