AI-powered video analytics solutions specialist Ipsotek and system integrator UTI Construction and Facility Management (UTI CFM) have won three distinct contracts

Eviden business Ipsotek and UTI CFM will deliver state-of-the-art video analytics systems for enhanced safety, security, and operational efficiency. The companies have partnered before, including on an initiative at Bucharest Henri Coanda (Otopeni) Airport in 2020.

“These new projects represent significant benchmarks being set for security, safety and operational excellence within airports across Romania,” said Stephen Papaloizou, Ipsotek account manager for UK & Europe. “Collaborating with UTI CFM has been instrumental in expanding our market presence in Romania. The company’s strong expertise and integration capabilities, coupled with Ipsotek’s state-of-the art video analytics software, has facilitated seamless introduction of advanced security solutions in the region.”

The deployments at Cluj, Sibiu, and Satu Mare airports will enable the detection of abandoned luggage, unauthorised vehicle entry in restricted zones, abandoned vehicle identification, as well as providing other video analytics solutions. Solutions will be tailored to each airport’s needs using Ipsotek’s patented Scenario Based Rule Engine. By providing actionable insights and streamlining incident response, Ipsotek's solutions will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and well-being of travellers and airport staff, the company said.

Ipsotek and UTI CFM will work closely with the respective airport authorities to ensure seamless integration, customisation, and support throughout the deployment process, which is expected later this year.
