Ferrovial Vertiports, a division of Ferrovial Airports, has appointed Craig Teasdale vice president of operations.

With more than 20 years of experience in the aviation industry, Teasdale’s new responsibilities will involve “planning all operational activities within the [Ferrovial] network of vertiports”. He will help Ferrovial Vertiports support the introduction of zero-carbon urban and regional air mobility services.

Kevin Cox, CEO of Ferrovial Vertiports, said: “Craig brings a wealth of operational leadership experience to this new role. He will ensure our vertiports consider all relevant operational requirements from the design stage. He will develop the protocols for how they will be run, with safety, sustainability, and convenience for passengers and operators top of mind.”

Teasdale has held leadership and operational roles in the Fixed-Based Operation (FBO) sector; for instance, he served as operations director as well as general manager at Signature Flight Support Corporation. Meanwhile, his expertise was more recently put to good use when he helped build Propeller Aero Services – an FBO start-up – where he was responsible for “establishing all aspects of the operations”.
