dnata secures Hainan Milan contract

Airport Handling, a dnata joint venture, has won a multi-year contract to manage Hainan Airlines’ ground handling operations at Milan Malpensa Airport.

The agreement will see Airport Handling provide the airline with a range of passenger, ramp and baggage services. Hainan will operate three weekly flights between Milan and Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport (SZX) in China, using a Boeing 787-9 aircraft.

Airport Handling is the main air services provider at both Milan airports, Malpensa and Linate (LIN). Established in 2014, its majority stakeholder is dnata, a global player in the combined air services industry, serving more than 300 airlines at over 120 airports globally.
