New restaurant The Common has opened on the Level 2 concourse at Brisbane Airport’s Domestic Terminal.

Owned and operated by Airport Retail Enterprises (ARE), one of Australia’s most experienced airport F&B operators, The Common features all-day breakfast and brunch, tapas, share plates, and the largest cocktail menu on airport. Located between the central and northern satellites, the new restaurant ‘is bathed in natural light, with the glass allowing passengers to enjoy the hustle and bustle of the airfield and apron’, according to the airport.

"It is an exciting time to welcome another store to the Brisbane Airport family. With passenger numbers continuing to grow, consumer confidence is undeniably returning and there is a real energy and buzz that can be felt when you are in the terminal," said Martin Ryan, executive general manager commercial at Brisbane Airport Corporation.

Already a long-time tenant of Brisbane Airport’s Domestic Terminal, ARE operates a number of other F&B stores onsite including Coffee Royal, Merlo, Graze Grill & Bar, Mezze ZaZa, New Farm Confectionary, Newstead Brewery, and Seeds by Bruno Loubet.
