amplimind, a joint venture between AUDI and Lufthansa Industry Solutions, is to set up home at the LabCampus, the innovation hub at Munich Airport.

In its new headquarters, amplimind “will intensively advance the digitalisation of the mobility industry”, the company said.

The amplimind team expects to start work in the offices at the LabCampus in the first quarter of 2024. After moving into a space of 550m² next to Munich Airport, around 65 employees will work on developing digital solutions for the future viability of the mobility industry. The key areas include software development for enterprise IT, the operation of strategic applications, and various consulting services relating to IT security and cloud platform development.

“At amplimind, two renowned companies are collaborating across sectors in a start-up-like environment to work on a major topic for the future,” said Dr Marc Wagener, managing director of LabCampus. “Projects and partnerships like this sustainably strengthen our regional innovation ecosystem and make it competitive in the long term.”

amplimind will move into LAB48, one of two buildings on the site that have already been completed.

“The modern and innovative environment at the LabCampus offers ideal conditions for putting networking concepts into practice and creating space for creativity and collaboration,” said Bettina Bernhardt, managing director of amplimind. “We can also organise our space individually and in line with new work requirements – which is not something that can be taken for granted.”
