Airport retail and F&B specialist Fraport USA, a wholly owned subsidiary of Fraport Frankfurt Airport Services Worldwide, has appointed Sabine Trenk CEO

Sabine Trenk has spent spent 30 years in the industry, gaining extensive experience managing commercial and airport operations throughout the world. Most recently, she served as chief operating and commercial officer for Fraport Brasil, where she led the commercial department, implementing the concessions programme for the airports of Fortaleza and Porto Alegre following the renovation and construction of new passenger terminals. Before joining Fraport Brasil, Trenk was the deputy general manager operations at Xi’an Xianyang International Airport in China. For nine years she was chief operating and commercial officer at Jorge Chavez International Airport in Lima, Peru, where she was responsible for passenger operations and managing the retail, food and beverage concessions programme.

“I am delighted to take over this new responsibility and lead the Fraport USA Group. I believe the US market offers a huge potential to expand Fraport USA’s footprint and services further, and thereby contribute to an appealing and world-class travel experience at U.S. airports.

“We will continue scanning the market for interesting opportunities and develop new ideas and concepts for the aviation sector with our highly experienced team,” Trenk said of her appointment.

Sabine Trenk succeeds Michael Mullaney.
