The move makes the fixed base operator the first ExecuJet FBO in Europe with fully electric ground handling equipment (GHE) and marks the latest stage in Luxaviation Group’s drive to achieve 100% electrification of GHE in its FBOs by 2030. Globally the company has hit 60% GHE electrification.
At the Paris FBO, fully electric GHE include ground power units, Mototok tugs, air stairs, luggage truck, toilet service, pushback tug and a portable water truck. Paris follows ExecuJet FBOs in Auckland, Melbourne, and Sydney in moving to electric GHE.
Luxaviation Group’s 2030 electrification objective aims to align the Group with the sector’s climate change goals to ensure environmental responsibility in business aviation.
