Aviator Airport Alliance is to focus on further developing the passenger experience and hospitality side of the business.

Aviator, which provides aviation services at 15 airports across the Nordics as well as operating two business lounges at Copenhagen Airport, is to further develop the passenger experience and hospitality side of its business. As part of this focus, Patrik Bayardo has joined the company as head of airport hospitality.

According to Bayardo, who has over 20 years of experience in business development, Aviator will develop new concepts that challenge the established industry and public understanding of what airport hospitality is and could be.

He said: “While making positive changes to travellers’ experiences, we are looking to introduce more purposes to visit airports or to find more reason to stay, maybe even without leaving the airport. This will strengthen airport ecosystems, bring operators new revenue streams, and make airports more inclusive and sustainable.”
