Ecuador’s busiest airport Quito/Mariscal Sucre International has been recognised by the Airports Council International (ACI) for its efforts to maintain a high-quality passenger experience.
The intention of the advice is to enable airports to better understand and identify opportunities for development of cargo strategies
The decision has been welcomed by ACI Europe but heavily criticised by IATA, who feel the move is “out of touch with reality”
The facility also won its first ever Service Quality Award from Airports Council International
The hub has implemented many safety measures since the outbreak of the pandemic
