Boeing’s 737 MAX 10 has reached a major milestone as the manufacturer finalised its configuration.  This means engineers now have all the design requirements in place for what will be the largest member of Boeing’s single-aisle family.

The 737 MAX 10, which will have a stretched fuselage that is 66in (167.64cm) longer than the 737 MAX 9, now moves into the detailed design phase prior to the start of production.  The airliner, will carry up to 230 passengers, now has more than 400 orders and commitments from 18 customers.  Deliveries are scheduled to begin in 2020.
