4) Andy KerswillBritish Airways (BA) selected Andy Kerswill as Director of Engineering, following Garry Copeland’s promotion to Managing Director of Operations.

Mr Kerswill returns to BA following a spell as Managing Director of subsidiary BA CityFlyer.  He was previously a General Manager at BA Engineering.

He began his career at BA with an apprenticeship in 1979 and has since worked through several sectors within the company, including ground operations, aircraft interiors design, aircraft procurement and delivery and materials management.

Mr Kerswill commented:  “I am really looking forward to returning to British Airways Engineering as these are exciting times for our team.  This year, we will welcome two state-of-the-art aircraft types, the Airbus 380 and Boeing 787, into our fleet, and raise the operational performance of our existing fleets to new levels.”
