IAG Considers Vueling Takeover

International Consolidated Airlines Group SA (IAG), owner of British Airways and Iberia, is considering making an offer for 100% of the share capital if Vueling Airlines SA.

A statement from the British-Spanish group said that the matter will be discussed by its board today (November 8).  However, it continued to say that no decision to make an offer had been made yet, nor on its terms including price.

Currently, IAG’s subsidiary Iberia LAE Operadora SA has a 45.85% shareholding in Vueling.
