Vanderlande Acquires Beewen

Vanderlande Industries has taken over Beewen after working together for a number of years.  Beewen will now handle the Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (AS/RS), with potential growth expected in line with the strategic ambitions of Vanderlande.

Jan Hulsmann, Managing Director of Distribution and Parcel & Postal of Vanderlande Industries said the acquisition: “will enable us to accelerate the development and launch of key products and solutions by closely combining the knowledge and experience of the Beewen team with that of our own experts.”

Udo Beewen, Managing Director of Beewen, commented:  “The future continuity of Beewen is guaranteed after I retire.  We both intend to ensure that Beewen retains its entrepreneurial atmosphere.
