New CFO for BHX

Birmingham Airport (BHX), UK, has welcomed Simon Richards as its new Chief Financial Officer.

Mr Richards joins BHX from London Stansted, where he has been Finance Director since 2009.  He has also held senior positions at energy company E.ON, including Finance Director of the retail division, Powergen, and of the distribution division, East Midlands Electricity.

Mr Richards will lead BHX’s Corporate Resources Division, which includes the Finance, IS, Property and Purchasing Departments.  He will also be a member of the Executive Team.

BHX CEO Paul Kehoe welcomed Mr Richards to the airport.  He said: “I am confident that he will be a great asset to our team as we strive to deliver profitable and sustainable growth at the airport for all our stakeholders.”
