Gulf Air Rejoins IOSA

GULF AIR, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, has renewed its place on the IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) Registry until 2013 after successfully completing the International Air Transport Association’s (IATA) safety audit requirements.  IOSA, established in 2003, is an internationally recognised and accepted evaluation system designed to assess the operational safety management and control systems of an airline. The certification is considered as the benchmark for global safety management in airlines. Meanwhile, the company has announced that the results of its 2010 customer satisfaction survey, which saw the airline’s cabin crew rated as “excellent” for the second consecutive year. The independent survey, carried out by IATA, covered close to 20,000 passengers over a one year period.  (Photo Gulf Air)
